Katovice, also known as Kātouce, is a market town in Strakonice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The village is 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) west of Strakonice, and is 412 meters (1351 feet) above sea level. It is in the center of the former Prachens region. Katovická hora, an ancient castle, is 2 km away. The first known reference to Katovice is in a historical document dating from 1318. The municipality has 1,279 inhabitants.
